Velocity Improvement Plan - Off Season
If you throw a baseball or softball and want a stronger, more dynamic and durable arm, then this program is for you. Begin the High School (or youth) season with an edge in arm strength! See Off-Season statistics below.

 

Velocity Improvement Plan - In Season

The In-season class is designed to maintain your off-season gains. If you are new to VIP, you will still see gains in arm strength, endurance, ... and so on. However, less stress will be put on your arm so that you can still perform for your team.

 

 

Goals of the Class:

  • Proper Arm Action for Increased Velocity

  • Proper Arm Action to Reduce Stress

  • Increased Throwing Stamina

  • Conditioned Arm and Body for Season

  • Become Explosive & Athletic on the mound

  • Become Explosive & Athletic from any position on the field

  • Introduce and teach throwing mechanics of hard throwers.

  • Recruit Quick Twitch Muscle Fiber

  • Increase Overall Velocity!

Methods of Achievement:
Each class is broken up into six parts

  • Class begins with Dynamic Stretching

  • Dynamic and Intensive Tubing Exercises

  • Explosive Medicine Ball Throws and Movements

  • Overload/Underload Throwing Series

  • Back-shaping Drill Series

  • Athletic Throwing

  • Cool Down

 

REGISTRATION: October, 2012 - Classes WILL FILL

2012/2013 Off-Season Class Times, Payments and Details

Class starts November 6th, 2011  (meet 3 days/week for 1.5 hr's each)

COST: $600 (+$15 online payment charge)

  • Class #1: Sunday 12:30-1:45pm, Tuesday & Thursday 7:30-8:45pm

    (NorCal players & invite only)

  • Class #2: Sunday 2:00-3:15 pm, Tuesday & Thursday 6:00-7:15pm

  • Class #3: TBD

Spring Session: February - April  (meet 2 days/week for 1 hr each)
COST: $300 or $100/month (+$10 online payment charge)

  • Class #1: Sunday: 1-2pm AND Wednesday: 8-9pm

  • Class #2: Sunday: 1-2pm AND Thursday: 8-9pm
