Velocity Improvement Plan
The VIP is for any player trying to increase arm strength, velocity, and durability while increasing overall core strength and conditioning. VIP is perfect for any player who wants to begin the High School (or youth) season with an edge in arm strength and conditioning.

 

 

Goals of the Class:

  • Proper Arm Action for Increased Velocity & Stress Reduction

  • Increased Throwing Stamina

  • Conditioned Arm and Body for Upcoming Season

  • Become Explosive and Athletic at any position on the field

  • Increase Overall Velocity

  • Catchers increase pop time with stronger arm

7+ MPH gain in velocity from VIP helped earn him a spot on team USA.

 

Average Statistics:

CLASS OF 2009 Averages coming soon

  • 96mph Top velocity

  • +12mph Top gain

Class of 2008:

  • Avg 6.1 mph increase

  • Top speed = 92 mph

  • Top gain = 12 mph

  • 3 college scholarships!

 

Methods of Achievement:
Each class is broken up into six parts

  • Class begins with Dynamic Stretching

  • Dynamic and Intensive Tubing Exercises

  • Explosive Medicine Ball Throws and Movements

  • Overload/Underload Throwing Series

  • Backshaping Drill Series

  • Cool Down

 

Class Times, Payments and Details

  • Class #1: Sunday 12:30-1:45pm, Tuesday & Thursday 7:30-8:45pm

    (NorCal & invite only)

  • Class #2: Sunday 2:00-3:15 pm, Tuesday & Thursday 6:00-7:15pm

  • Class #3: Monday & Wednesday 7:30-8:45pm, Saturday 12:30-1:45pm
